The NB Design Edit is a focused, paid design session for homeowners who want expert direction without a full-service commitment. It’s ideal for someone who has a space they want to improve but isn’t sure where to start, or someone considering full-service design who wants to experience working with us before making that investment.

The In-Person Edit is 90 minutes and takes place in your home. We walk your space with you directly, which allows for the most thorough and nuanced assessment. The Virtual Edit is 60 minutes via video call and covers the same core areas using everything you share in advance. Both are fully prepared sessions, the format is the difference, not the level of expertise.

You’ll leave with a clear design direction — a point of view on your layout, a color approach, an honest edit of what’s working and what isn’t, and specific sourcing direction for pieces that would elevate your space. The Edit is a live, focused conversation. It does not include written deliverables such as mood boards or floor plans. Those are available through our full-service design offerings.

The In-Person Edit covers up to two rooms within the 90-minute session. The Virtual Edit covers one room within 60 minutes. If you’d like to cover additional spaces, reach out before booking and we’ll discuss the best approach.

We review everything you share in advance, arrive with a perspective already forming, and use the time to deliver real direction — not just listen and take notes.

We ask for at least 72 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your session. Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable. Each client is permitted one reschedule. We value your time and ask that you value ours as well.

In the rare event we need to cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance, you will be offered the first available rebooking or a full refund. Your time matters and we take that seriously.

We love when clients share their experience. Feel free to tag us and share your own space — we’d love to see it. If you’d like to include us or any materials from the session, just give us a heads up first. We’re always open to collaborating on content when it’s a good fit for both sides.

Absolutely — and many clients do make that move. Clients who book full-service design within 30 days of their Edit will receive a credit toward their project. The Edit is a natural first step into the full Nota Bene experience.
